Welcome to Cyber Rebellion. We forge our rules with the same precision used to etch runes: clear, balanced, and designed to protect the integrity of the game world. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be considered for purchases made within our realm. By making a purchase, you accept the terms below.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to digital goods and services acquired in connection with Cyber Rebellion, including—without limitation—premium currency, rune or essence packs, cosmetics, stash expansions, battle or season passes, and other virtual items or entitlements. Physical merchandise and items obtained from unofficial sellers are not covered.

2. Nature of Digital & Rune-Based Goods

Digital items are delivered immediately and can alter gameplay progression the moment they appear in your inventory. For this reason, most purchases are non-refundable once delivered. A refund may be considered only if the item has not been used, opened, activated, combined, traded, or otherwise consumed.

3. Eligibility Criteria

A request may be reviewed if all of the following are true:

  • The transaction was completed through an official Cyber Rebellion platform or in-game payment channel.
  • The purchased content has not been accessed, equipped, socketed, dismantled, transmuted, or converted into any other in-game value.
  • There is clear evidence of a technical failure (for example, nondelivery) or a billing error (such as an unintended duplicate charge).
  • The account associated with the purchase remains in good standing and is not under restriction for policy violations.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or unmet personal expectations.
  • Dissatisfaction with item stats, drop outcomes, balance changes, or perceived value.
  • Content that has been used, activated, or interacted with in any way once delivered.
  • Purchases made through unofficial third parties or gray-market resellers.
  • Account actions resulting from policy or Terms of Service violations.
  • Gifts or transfers where the requester is not the original purchaser.

5. Event, Seasonal, and Limited-Time Offers

Items tied to events, seasonal tracks, limited-time bundles, or exclusive promotions are generally non-refundable once granted, except where a verified delivery or billing error occurred.

6. Technical Errors & Delivery Issues

If your purchase was charged but the items did not arrive, or if you were charged more than intended, contact support with proof of payment. After verification, we may, at our discretion, either issue a refund or credit your account with an equivalent value. Credits cannot be exchanged for cash and may be restricted to use within Cyber Rebellion.

7. Platform & Payment Channel Notes

Some platforms and payment providers offer their own tools for handling refunds. Where applicable, you may be required to use those tools first. Decisions made by a platform or payment provider may affect our ability to process a request directly.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a review, prepare the following information and contact support:

  • Order or transaction ID.
  • Account identifier and character name (if applicable).
  • Description of the purchased item or bundle.
  • Clear explanation of the issue and the requested resolution.

Submitting a request does not guarantee approval. Additional verification may be required to protect your account and the in-game economy.

9. Review Process & Outcomes

Once we receive your request, we will investigate the transaction history, delivery logs, and account actions. Possible outcomes include:

  • Approval with refund to the original payment method.
  • Approval with in-game credit of an equivalent value.
  • Decline if the request does not meet eligibility requirements.

10. Processing Method

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method when possible. Processing timelines depend on your payment provider. We cannot expedite third-party processing.

11. Fraud, Abuse & Chargebacks

We monitor for patterns of abuse, including repeated refund attempts, misuse of platform tools, or chargebacks. Fraudulent or bad-faith requests may result in denial of the refund, revocation of items, restriction of purchasing abilities, or account penalties.

12. Account Integrity & Item State

If a refund is approved for delivered content, we may remove or deactivate the associated items, currency, or entitlements. If removal is not feasible, equivalent adjustments may be applied to maintain fairness and protect the game economy.

13. Bundles, Conversions & Crafting

For bundles or multi-item purchases, partial refunds are generally not available if any component was used, opened, or converted (e.g., runes combined, essences consumed, or cosmetics equipped). Crafting, transmutation, or upgrading any part of a bundle counts as usage.

14. Unauthorized Purchases

Report any unauthorized purchases immediately. We may require proof of account ownership and additional verification. Resolution may include removal of items and restoration steps where possible; refunds are not guaranteed for unauthorized activity.

15. Final Decision & Policy Changes

All decisions regarding refund eligibility are final. We may update this policy to preserve fair play, maintain economic balance, and improve clarity for all players. Continued use of Cyber Rebellion and completion of purchases constitute acceptance of this policy.
